Rockport - Directions to Evans Field and Parisi Field
From Route 128: At the end of Route 128 make a left toward Rockport at the traffic light onto Eastern Avenue in Gloucester (Route 127). Continue on Route 127 for approximately 3 miles to Rockport. When you get to Rockport, the street descends to an intersection of five streets, where you should make a left turn onto Railroad Avenue. Proceed on Railroad Avenue a short distance until you see Dunkin Donuts on your left. Just beyond the Dunkin Donuts make a left into the entrance to the MBTA station parking area (the MBTA station is directly behind Dunkin Donuts). The MBTA parking area is adjacent to Evans Field. Parisi Field is part of Evans Field and is at the end farthest from the entrance.
Rockport - Directions to McCloy Field (also known as Pingree Field)
From Route 128: At the end of Route 128 make a left toward Rockport at the traffic light onto Eastern Avenue in Gloucester (Route 127). Continue on Route 127 for approximately 3 miles to Rockport. When you get to Rockport, the street descends to an intersection of five streets, where you should make a left turn onto Railroad Avenue. Proceed on Railroad Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles and take a left onto Story Street, which is directly across from the Pigeon Cove Post Office. (Note: Railroad Avenue becomes Granite Street at the intersection of Beach Street - keep going - make no turns until Story Street.) The McCloy (Pingree) field is located about 100 yards up on your left.
Rockport - Directions to Green Field
Green Field is located at the Rockport school complex.
From Route 128: At the end of Route 128 make a left toward Rockport at the traffic light onto Eastern Avenue in Gloucester (Route 127). Continue on Route 127 for approximately 3 miles to Rockport. When you get to Rockport, the street descends to an intersection of five streets, where you should bear slightly to right onto Broadway Avenue (Route 127A). Broadway ends in a "T" at the lighthouse shaped traffic dummy - take right at "T" onto Mt. Pleasant Street. Follow Mt. Pleasant Street for 1/2 mile to Jerden's Lane which will be on the right. Turn right onto Jerden's Lane. The Rockport school complex is 1/4 mile on left side of street. Green Field is located behind the schools in the far right rear corner.
Manchester - Directions to Sweeney Park (Front & Back)
From Route 128 take School Street exit. Go toward Manchester on School Street for about half mile. Turn left onto Lincoln Street and follow to the end. You will pass the High School and Elementary School. Take a left onto Summer Street - Route 127 (gas station will be on your left). The field is about a hundred yards up on the right.
Manchester - Directions to Masconomo Park
From Route 128 take the School Street exit. Follow School Street all the way into Manchester Center (Town Hall/Police Station will be straight ahead). Take a left onto Central Street and continue through town and across the Railroad Tracks (Crosby’s Market will be on your left). Masconomo Park will be on your right just after the harbor (across from Captain Dusty’s Ice-cream).
Essex - Directions to Memorial Park
School Street to Essex all the way to the Causeway. Turn left onto the Causeway and continue to the Village Restaurant (Periwinkles will be on the right). Turn left and the field is just after the Police Station and before the Town Hall (Stone Building) on your left. The softball field is the one in back.
Essex - Directions to Field of Dreams (1 & 2)
School Street to Essex all the way to the Causeway. Turn left onto the Causeway and turn left at the Village Restaurant. Continue on this road (Route 22) for several miles to Centennial Grove Road on your left (entrance is immediately after Fairfield Chapel). Continue down the road until you see the fields on your left. Can’t miss the fields since it’s a dead end street.
Go Back
